Welcome to My Creative Demiplane

Hey there, thanks for stopping by my little corner of the internet. I’m Katerina — and if we were sitting together right now, maybe with a cup of tea or a nice glass of something stronger, this is the story I’d tell you about how my business come to be.

I started out as a performer and dancer, making costumes for myself and the teams I performed with. Those early designs were all about movement, stage presence — helping people feel confident, powerful, and expressive under the lights. I never really thought of myself as a fantasy artist back then. I just loved making things that helped people shine- literally and figuratively.

And then, around 2015, something come to change thhings up. I met my husband, and not long after that, we started a Dungeons & Dragons campaign with his friends — a campaign that’s still going strong today. I was instantly hooked. The stories, the characters, the world-building — it felt like everything I already loved about performance and creativity and storytelling just in a new form.

My husband had been in the fantasy world for years already, so while some of the excitement had worn off for him, it was something we could share. And little by little, I found myself shifting from dance costumes to something... stranger. Cloaks. Props. Cosplay. Chainmail. It wasn’t planned. It just happened. And eventually, it became clear that this was where I belonged.

Some of the pieces that have stayed with me most are the firsts — the first cosplay I made, the first corset, the first chainmail necklace. Every one of them opened a new door, a new chapter. I love work that takes patience — building things ring by ring, bead by bead, or gluing 50,000 rhinestones by hand. That kind of slow magic, where you feel time passing as you create, is where I come alive.

What you’ll find here on the blog is the process behind all of it — the tangled middle, the quiet wins, the ridiculous mistakes, the materials and music and moods that go into each piece. I’ll share stories, updates, half-finished ideas, and hopefully something that nudges you toward making your own kind of magic, in whatever form that takes.

Thanks for being here. For being curious. For carrying a bit of my magic with you.

Now go build your own.
